 MR. LITO MONICO C. LORENZANA 
 CHAIRMAN

LMLMr. Lorenzana is the current president and chairperson of the board of the Centrist Democracy Political Institute. He was the chairperson of the board and president of the Technical Assistance Center for the Development of Rural and Urban Poor (TACDRUP), an NGO based in Davao City that served largely the communities in Southern Mindanao for the last 35 years.

Mr. Lorenzana earned his Master in Public Administration in the Harvard University – Kennedy School of Government and was the first president of the Harvard-KSG Alumni Association of the Philippines. He was recruited by the Cory Aquino Government to her cabinet and assumed the positions of undersecretary of the departments of local government (DLG) and environment and natural resources (DENR). Subsequently he also served the administrations of Presidents Ramos, Estrada and Arroyo in various capacities as Commissioner of Kabisig, Edsa People Power Commission, Charter Change Commission and the Chairman of the Charter Change Advocacy Commission. He sat on various corporate boards of government and private corporations and consultant for the NRMP program of the World Bank, the USAID and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.
In the political arena, he was one of the founders of the PDP Laban with Nene Pimentel; fathered the Successor Generation with Rey Teves and with Peter Koeppinger he was a co-convenor of the Centrist Democratic Movement Federation and the current President of the Centrist Democratic Party: Ang Partido ng Tunay na Demokrasya.

ATTY. RUFUS B. RODRIGUEZ

Atty. Rodriguez is the former House Representative of the Second District of Cagayan de Oro City. He is also currently elected as the National President of the Centrist Democratic Party of the Philippines: Ang Partido ng Tunay na Demokrasya. He was also a chairman of the Ad-hoc Committee of the Bangsamoro Basic Law. 

During his High School graduation, he was the recipient of the Insular Life Excellence Award. He went on to take AB-Economics at De La Salle University, Manila where he graduated. He entered the College of Law at the University of the Philippines at Diliman, Quezon City. As a sophomore law student, he was elected the first and Filipino President of the World Association of Law Students based in Washington, D.C., U.S.A. He was a student at the U.P. College of Law, a member of the Order of the Purple Feather Honor Society from 1st to 4th year. He graduated in the 1981 Bar Examinations with grades of 90% in three bar subjects namely: Commercial Law, Criminal Law and Labor Law. Atty. Rodriguez graduated as Summa Cum Laude with the degree in Economics at the De La Salle University, and ranked as number 7 in the 1981 Bar Exams. He finished his Master of Laws and graduated as Magna Cum Laude in Columbia Law School in New York. Rodriguez was appointed as the head of the Bureau of Immigration by President Joseph Estrada in 1998, and served in that capacity until 2001.

MR. JORDAN JAY C. ANTOLIN

The current Executive Director of the Centrist Democracy Political Institute (CDPI), is one of the pioneers of the Centrist Democratic Movement Federations of the Philippines and one of the founding members and the current Secretary General of the Centrist Democratic Party of the Philippines.

With distinctions, he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Language and Literature at Mindanao State University and was a recipient of the CHED-HEDP Scholarship Grant for his Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature (MELL) at Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan. He is an active member and leader of various NGO, socio-civic, and professional organizations and was given numerous awards and recognitions in various capacities. Moreover, Mr. Antolin has organized and facilitated various activities and programs both locally and nationally and has written and published articles on politics, peace building, and literary pieces, among others.

He was once a college instructor for almost 15 years at Liceo de Cagayan University, Cagayan de Oro City. He was one of the delegates of the Centrist Democratic Youth Association of the Philippines (CDYAP) cultural and political study tour in Germany on August-September 2013 and was one of the recipients of the 15th Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung International Summer School on Political Campaigning in Challenging Domestic and International Landscapes held in Berlin, Germany on June-July 2016 under the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS)-Philippines program.

MR. ANGEL A. LIM, JR.

Atty. Angel A. Lim, Jr. earned his Bachelor’s degree in BSEID Electronics Technology at Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology in 1999. In 2015, he took up Bachelor of Law at MSU – College of Law Iligan Extension. The LET & BAR passer had a vast experience in teaching private schools for five years. He then served as a lawyer and a notary public at Lim Law Office from 2014 up to present. He became part in varied notable organizations such as the Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator of Knights Columbus, Council 10425, CAN 2358, and The Fraternal Order of Eagles – Philippines Eagles Lugait Eagles Club from 2009 to present under the capacity of a Charter President/Regional Assemblyman. Now, he is fulfilling well his political duties as the Deputy Secretary General of the Centrist Democratic Party of the Philippines from 2016 to present.

MR. ANGELO DWIGHT L. PENSON

Mr. Angelo Dwight L. Penson is a graduate of San Beda College with a degree in Business Administration. He took a Master’s degree in Marketing Management at the University of Louisville, U.S. A. and later studied Traffic/Transport Engineering at the University of the Philippines.
His business career has spanned a range of activities such as petroleum marketing, electronics, automotive final assembly, chemical processing, transportation and aviation. Penson was Supervisor- retail outlet development of Esso Philippines, Inc., Vice President of Guevent Industrial and Development Corporation, President of Philippines Aerospace Development Corporation, Chairman/President of Air Philippines Corporation, Chairman of Metro Manila Transit Corporation, Director of Philippine Helicopter Services Corporation, Pantranco North Express Inc. and Light Rail Transit Authority. He was also two-term President of the Federation of Aviation Organization of the Philippines (FEDAVOR).
Mr. Penson was the former President of the Las Pinas Rotary Club and an active Rotarian for 23 years. He received more than 50 awards, citations and recognition for his contribution and participation in the said clun projects. Most laudable of all, is the Most Significant Achievement Award given by the Rotary International for the conceptualization and implementation of the Prisons School project at the National Penitentiary in Muntinlupa. He was also Sectoral Representative-Formal Labor and Migrant Workers Council, National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC)-Office of the President (2006-2009). He was given the Likas Yaman Award by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Narra Award by the President of the Philippines in 1980 for planting 1.5 million trees, Chairman of People’s Reform Initiative for Social Mobilization, Inc. (PRISM), and was a full time advocate of Preparatory Education through People’s Initiative (PREPI) until 2013. He helped to build and operate over 100 classrooms in 28 poor communities in Luzon with an annual enrollment of over 5,000 young children a year at no cost to the parents and government. At the present, he is the Chairman of the National Greening Movement Foundation, a non-profit and non-government organization committed to environmental concern and human resource development since 1972. Simultaneously, he is serving the Centrist Democratic Party of the Philippines (CDP) as the party’s National Treasurer.

MRS. MILA ZABALLERO ABESAMIS

Ms. Mila Zaballero-Abesamis is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Accounting at Xavier University CDO in 1981. She started working as a scholarship In-charge & community organizer of Abante Mindanao Partylist (ABAMIN) for five years then become the Officer-in-Charge of ABAMIN CDO. She also became the OIC at Congressional Office of CDO District II, OIC of ABAMIN CDO District Office & CDP Mindanao Office. She is a speaker/lecturer and part time college teacher, an active member and officer of Mother Ignacia Movement CDO Chapter and Northern Mindanao Region from 1981 to present; a current Regional Education Committee Chairman & President for CDO Chapter; Squadron & District Secretary of PCG Auxiliary Northern Mindanao from 2006 to present; former Secretary & member of Kiwanis of Macajalar Bay CDO from 2011 to present; and a fellow & trainer of the Fellowship of the 300 from April 2014 to present.

ROBERT V. DULAY

Mr. Robert Valdez Dulay is a graduate of Madison College in Harrisonburg Virginia in 1975. He acquired course of studies to the 33rd BMP: Managerial Process and Practice at the Asian Institute of Management in 1983. He participated in different capacity building activities such as the seminar workshop for Top Development Managers in the Philippine Government by the Asian Institute of Management in 1986, the 4th Workshop Study Tour for Leaders in the Department of Agrarian Reform on Cooperative Development in Rural Areas by International Institute for Labor, Development and Cooperative Studies, and the Covenant Team Leadership Program in 2000. He also passed the Professional Civil Service Exam and acquired ISO training in 2000 and 2001.

JACK G. ARROYO

Dr. Jack G. Arroyo, Jr. has been an Independent Director of SMC Global Power Holdings Corp. since September 2, 2011. Mr. Arroyo also serves as a Director of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, Philippine Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the ASEAN Eye Center Association and Casino Espanol de Manila. He is a Medical Doctor and Ophthalmologist by profession. He is the current Vice President of CDP-NCR chapter.

IRENEO M. NOYNAY

Mr. Ireneo Noynay is a graduate of Aircraft Maintenance Technology at PATTS School of Aeronautics in Parañaque. After he graduated, he eventually started his active participation in the democratic process when he founded and organized various livelihood and neighborhood associations & cooperatives. He also attended different trainings and seminars provided by different Non-Government Organizations in the field of livelihood skills and developmental skills and awareness. He was a former consultant of Advocate Balance Environment Foundation (ABE) before he became an active Community Development Organizer. In the present, he is a consultant of Rich Ideas Developmental Skills (RIDS) and a political action officer of the Centrist Democracy Political Institute.

RENATO G. TIBON

Mr. Renato G. Tibon graduated at Liceo de Cagayan (CDO) with a degree in BS Commerce Major in Banking and Finance. He worked previously in different insurance companies from 1979 to 2000 then became the agency manager of Caritas Health Shield, Inc. 2000 to present. He participated in various organizations such as the Kiwanis Club of Secured Valley where he was a former President from 2009-2011. At the present, he is one of the CDPI’s Political Action Officers tasked to handle the Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Lanao del Norte areas. Simultaneously, he is an active prime mover of the CDP – Cagayan de Oro City Chapter. He was once a Regional Chairperson of the Centrist Democratic Party in Northern Mindanao. He graduated at Liceo de Cagayan University in Cagayan de Oro City with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce Major in Banking and Finance.

  MS. CRISTITA MARIE LAUDE GIANGAN

Ms. Cristita Marie Laude Giangan, MPMD, in 2012, has earned her Master’s in Public Management and Development at the University of San Carlos (USC) where she also graduated as Magna Cum Laude in Political Science in the year 2008. Her previous experience as an instructor of a Political Science course paved her way to become a speaker in different local and international conferences and forums. Since 2012, she works as the Project Manager of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Philippines who particularly handles the “Partnerships for Integrity and Jobs”, an EU Co-Founded Project. Concurrently, she is the Chairperson of the Young Centrist Union (formerly Centrist Democratic Youth Association of the Philippines/CDYAP).
