Dr. Adrian Tamayo

Is a Doctorate Degree holder in Development Research as well as a Master’s Degree holder in Economics. He is currently the research director of the University of Mindanao’s Quantitative Studies Research and Publication Center. Dr. Tamayo is also a specialist at the Institute of Popular Opinion. He has worked as a World Bank Consultant for Mindanao Jobs Report.
He went to Germany to learn about Social Market Economy and was the country representative of the Philippine Economic Society to the ASEAN Federation of Economists in Malaysia in 2011.
Dr. Tamayo is a pioneering member of the Centrist Democratic Movement of the Federation of the Philippines and a Founding member of the Centrist Democratic Party of the Philippines. Moreover, he has also served as Program Manager of the Technical Assistance Center for the Development of Rural and Urban Poor (TACDRUP). He worked with the Centrist Democracy Political Institute (CDPI) as part of its local think-tank in 2011. Dr. Tamayo Studied Development Research and Administration at School of Applied Economics in University of Southeastern Philippines. He is currently a Fellow of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
